Rowan Tree and Red Thread

Back from our first Worldcon and our first holiday without our daughter since she was born. Tired but happy sums up the whole experience. I have to sit down and write out my impressions before they fade, so I hope to have more to say about the con shortly.

I will say the best thing about it all was the chance it gave me to meet people; old friends, new friends, e-friends and APA-friends I'd never met face to face before. I really enjoyed the sense of community and shared excitement that the con brought to me.
