Sam and I celebrated our sixth anniversary on Sunday. Marie came round to baby-sit, so we snuck out to an Indian restaurant in town called the Indian Palace. We had eaten there once before and greatly enjoyed it, so we wanted to give it another go and see if the experience was repeatable (bloody empiricists). It was.
I'm sure that the various dishes we had were quite unlike the food we'd have really found in India. Luckily for us we were in Cork instead and came away stuffed and very pleased with ourselves.
Since Rowan was born we haven't done too badly for nights out, though obviously less so than when we were childless. Each one is greatly appreciated nonetheless, as I cherish the time with Sam and the chance to focus just on the two of us, just for a little while.

Many of my best friends are empiricists!

I'm reaching the alive/together tipping point: I was 18 when I first started going out with G, and with D (I've given you the long version of this once, right?). It will be exactly 18 years since I met them at 19:00 on Tue 4 Oct 2005 - and I was then 18 years, 1 month, 16 days and 12 hours old. So something is going to tip at the very end of Thu 27 Oct 2005 by my reckoning.
Yes, this is the short version :-)
