Damn

I broke a tooth. Part of one of my lower left molars cracked and has left the tooth pulp exposed. There's no pain (so far) but it's left a sharp edge and a visit to the dentist on Monday will be required. On top of that I never found the missing piece so I think I've swallowed part of my own tooth. I hope it doesn't bite me in the arse later.

He put a temporary cement repair on the tooth, told me there was another cavity that needed filling, and booked me in to come back for the lesser filling. One of his partners will take a look at the damaged tooth and I'll see him for a proper repair later on.
