Perhaps I am paranoid, but this sounds far-off claxons in my head and wonder at the fate of those Americans who decide that, for whatever reason, they would not display the flag on "Loyalty Day".
I am also somewhat disturbed that, having already Independence Day as a national holiday, the administration feels that this is, on any level, a useful idea for the American people.
To me it seems a pointless proclamation.
