Rowan Tree and Red Thread

Well, I'm pooped. State of play in Casa Corcoran at the end of a long week:

• Sam's back in bed, feeling rotten with some sort of nausea and stomach pains, hopefully nothing post-op but just something she picked up from


• Oscar, who is suffering from some nose/tummy combo that has him awake at odd hours, sore in the tum, and mercurial in mood. A bit like his sister


• Rowan, who was suffering from nightmares last night (thankfully not at exactly the same time as Oscar was awake) and whose mood swings are beginning to wear the nerves thin.

I am trying to stop myself from buying mood-enhancing tech gadets from the web as, while such retail therapy might lift my mood a bit, it's a short-lived thing and the house is bursting at the seams already.

One good bit of news: We had irishkate round to visit last night, and were delighted to discover another LJ-friend come to life in the real world. Now begins the campaign to get her, mizkit and chefted round for some roleplaying.
