Gary Gygax has died, as reported all over the place.

Without his work, I wouldn't be the person I am today. Thanks, Gary. You'll be missed.

You realize that your first sentence has its meaning entirely changed with the introduction of a single comma:

"Gary Gygax has died, as reported, all over the place."

Regardless, this is another sad milestone for our gaming hobby.
