Rowan Tree and Red Thread

My brother, Eoin, and his fiance, Noora, visited us in Cork this weekend. We hadn't seen them since June when we were last in Dublin, so they were surprised by how much Rowan has grown. I was delighted that Rowan was so friendly with them. The last time she met them she was a good deal more shy, and I think Eoin was a bit disappointed by her standoffishness. This weekend she couldn't get enough of him and was obviously more at ease than she was in June.

It's a great feeling to watch your child engaging with others and to see other people become as delighted with her as her parents always are.
