Very nice. It's certainly something to strive for. I'd like to see "you have the right to clean air and water (and maybe a CO2 level below a certain amount)" added to the list. That would put a lot of pressure on individual countries to cut pollution and greenhouse gases.

I agree. We need to make environmental matters automatic issues for consideration, not just afterthoughts. My biggest worry during this recession/depression/collapse of the Western financial system is that it will be used as an excuse for business as usual for industry and the environment (and us by extension) will be allowed go to pot.
