I have been crap about getting through books so far this year. I must have about 40 books on the shelf at the top of the bed half-read or waiting to be started, not to mention the countless volumes lurking on the shelves around the house. I did however read Life On Air, David Attenborough's autobiography of his broadcasting life. It's a marvelous and fascinating read, covering nature documentary making, international travel, the creation of BBC2 and many, many other tidbits from a life full of passion and honest joy in the natural world. I'm all fired up now to track down DVD sets of all Attenborough's work.
