My LJ bio

I've been informed of a long-time spelling mistake in my LJ bio entry. Oh, the shame. As amends I've decided to let you lot write a new one for me. Anyone who wants can contribute a line or two in a comment, and I'll tot them all up and add them to the bio.

I reserve the right to arbitrarily ignore boring or libelous contributions, but I'll try and take all-comers.

I spend more time at home than I do at work and my wife and daughter are not at all put out about this. Yay!
