Rowan Tree and Red Thread

I've just been dancing. I'm home alone at the moment. sammywol and our daughter are visiting my parents-in-law, and the dance just took hold of me. I was listening to Frou Frou, the band Imogen Heap used to sing with. The song was "Must Be Dreaming" from the album Details. Its beat was infectious and without thinking I cleared a space in the living room, turned the volume up as high as it would go (pretty damn high) and started a frenzied dancing.

Now dancing and fat, white 30-somethings don't always go together. Who cares? The song was on a loop and I danced for about 12 minutes I'd guess, at my discoordinated, frenzied, white-boy best. I'm exhausted and euphoric. Nothing proves Descartes more wrong than this: mind and body functioning together, each influencing the other, and together making ... me.
