2a. I want to call my house 'Re Albi' but can't bring myself to face the endless questions from postal workers et al.
2b. Every X-ray I have includes the radiographer saying "have you had abdominal surgery?" Usually as they spot the row of staples down my colon.
2c. My doodles usually consist of either intricate knot works and branching structures or naive figures in a cave art style.
2d. In college I would (occasionally) beat my fists off walls when drunk, "to have something to remind me of the night before."
2e. I keep a private hypertext journal that is growing too large for its own good.

I remember the fist thing. It was worrisome to those around you. Most people settled for hangovers.

I'd like to call the house Re Albi too - although it isn't really high enough up for that. Maybe the next one.

Re Albi is the home of Ogion, Ged's mentor in A Wizard of Earthsea and later novels. I think it means something like Eagle's Nest.

Gah! I think it means 'Eagle's Nest' but that may not be exact - and I am too pooped and toddlered out to go upstairs to look it up; how idle is that?! Sorry. It is from Ursula Le Guin's Earthsea books (I *refuse* to call them a trilogy as there are now six books in the series.) and it is the house where Ogion, Sparrowhawk's teacher lives. It is consistently painted as a peaceful place, conducive to healing and insight. Pity it is more than halfway up a mountain.

Sorry - that came over completely wrong: no one is fuming! It's just that I took an embarassingly long time to be able to spell pc correctly, so I was trying to be helpful... and also, you can always change history with 'Edit Entry' to tag whomsoever you choose?

purplecthulu pretender to the throne out there after all, only the one, true, bubbly farting

purplecthulhu. Thanks for the advice about the Edit Entry tag but I'd have to tag the person a bit more personally than that unless they reread old posts. I'll chew on it - after all it is only a meme and not worth much stress.
