We were all sitting in the living room. Rowan brought up a tv show, Pablo
the Little Red Fox, and we ended up talking about the names of the
characters.
Mama (that's my darling wife): What was the cat's name?
Dad (that's me): Seamus!
Mama: No, I think it was Finbarr.
Dada: Hmm, no I'm pretty sure it was Seamus. Seamus, definitely Seamus.
Rowan (growling with disapproval): FINBARR!
That's me outvoted then.

I was wrong on the name and the spelling of the cat, then. In my defense I plead the local spelling of the patron saint of Cork, St. Finbarr (or Finbarre, or Fin Barr), whose esoteric orthography has obviously tainted my mind.

And I am slightly jealous. I'm not a big fan of musicals, but it's Eddie.

I thought you'd be jealous - it's not just any old musical, either!
