The woe, etc.

A couple of days ago I was awash with glee because of this.

Now the package tracker for my copy of Battlelore reads

Held in warehouse, return to sender(Information of Delivery): Cork / IE, 2006-11-30 07:46

"Return to sender"? Woe, for have I rejoiced too soon and the Universe rewards me thus. All is sorrow.

Unfortunately I don't know exactly where the Cork depot is. There's a lot of warehouses I'd have to raid before hitting the right one I think.

Ouch!

That happened to me when I made an online order with ToysRUs. The bloody thing never arrived at all and just went back and forth from their warehouse to the depot until they eventually agreed to cancel the order and refund me.

We had some problem like that with an order from the UK as a birthday gift for a relative living in the UK. It just dragged on and on, the birthday came and went, and we never saw the item in question.

I really hope this is not going to go the same way. I was really looking forward to having this game in time for Christmas.
