The lovely people at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) are at it again. Please take the time to sign the EFF's petition against the current draft of the WIPO Broadcasting Treaty, which amongst other things, looks set to allow rebroadcasters to add restrictive copyright terms even to Creative Commons released material, expressly against the wishes of the original creators, as well as provide yet another legal stick to threaten those who remix or adapt, under terms of fair use, copyrighted material to create fresh and new art.
