Ruari Quinn addressing the Dail on the Ryan Report

Firstly, I've said this many times. Why the effing hell has Ireland managed to have the vast majority of its primary schools under Church ownership and control via the school patron and board set-up? It would be laughable if it weren't so bloody stupid.

Secondly, isn't it both depressing and typical that the Dail should be practically empty for the dicussions of the Ryan Report?
